NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR MUSEUM
Arlington, Texas
The 100,000-SF National Medal of Honor Museum is a world-class facility cornering five acres of waterfront in Arlington, Texas, dedicated to honoring the extraordinary courage and selfless service of Medal of Honor recipients. The project includes exhibition spaces, educational programming areas, and gathering spaces that engage visitors with powerful narratives of sacrifice and leadership.
Our team performed a geotechnical investigation for the new museum in Arlington’s Entertainment District, as well as soil borings up to 75-feet deep, soil and rock testing and prepared the geotechnical engineering report with foundation recommendations. Finally, we designed the subgrade, which needed specific solutions for expansive soil conditions, paving, and lateral loading for below-grade structures.
